Peter Roberts, Partner, Longworth Venture Partners

Peter Roberts brings more than 16 years of senior partner-level private equity investing experience to Longworth. Following seven years in commercial banking, he joined BancBoston Ventures' London office in 1989. In 1993 he joined BancBoston Ventures' early stage IT team in Boston and led its software investments for eight years. During his tenure, he led and managed 25 investments, including IT infrastructure pioneer Allaire Corporation, in addition to Arbinet, HTE, Internet Capital Group (ICG), Silknet, Watchfire, Waypoint, and WebCT.

Peter continues to leverage his enterprise software and IT infrastructure domain expertise at Longworth, where he represents the firm on the boards of DFA Capital Management, iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, Innovectra and Parlano. He received his MBA from the University of New Hampshire and a BA from Southern Connecticut State College.
